The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.

Applications are now open and can shut on fifteen December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a home which has a combined gross family earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• People with disabilities qualify if their combined household revenue would not exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and want not post any evidence of earnings.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
